OMS uses 1000 denier Nylon backed with 5-6.0 oz of Urethane to prevent abrasion and increase puncture resistance on all BC’s. Most competitors lose the First Line of Defense™ on their BC’s by using little or no urethane backing. This leaves their product susceptible to punctures and abrasion . Housed inside our Nylon cover is a 210 Denier Nylon bladder backed w/ 3.8 pz of Urethane (2 bladders on the dual bladder BC).
The OMS® 32 lb., 45 lb., 60 lb. lift non-retraction BC’s incorporate a pull dump located at the diver’s side lower left and an inflator hose exiting the center or slightly off center of the BC tank side.
