divemasterYour PADI Divemaster Diver course is your entry into Professional level diving.

When certified you can assist on training courses and run programs within the PADI educational system.

It is important that as part of your training you dive in a variety of different situations. Once you’re certified there are many options for where and how you can dive and assist.

Option 1 Internship $1399

A hands on course that lets you gain real world dive industry experience.
The course price includes all your Theory, Confined and Open Water instruction, Manual, mlERDP, Encyclopedia of Diving , Diving Knowledge Workbook, Divemaster Slates & Air Fills.

Option 2 Practical Application $1999

Role playing is used to simulate divers in training. The course price is inclusive as above.

Pre-requisites
• PADI Advanced Open Water (or equivalent from another training
organization with 20 logged dives).
• PADI Rescue Diver (or equivalent from another training organization).
• Minimum 20 logged dives at start of course.
• 18 years old at course commencement.
• Dive Medical (current to within 1 year)
• 1st Aid and CPR certification (current to within 2 years)
Note: We run Emergency First Response courses covering primary care (CPR) and secondary care (1st aid). This is a 2 evening course costing $199

Once you have completed your PADI Divemaster course with Global Dive, you will be responsible for your PADI Professional Membership.

To be employed as an Occupational Diver in New Zealand, you must complete a Commercial Dive Medical and you apply for an receive an Occupational Safety and Health Certificate of Competency.  More information is available from the Department of Safety and Health.
