Wow the weather is great. It’s so good even Grant is wearing shorts (scary!).
Hope you’ve all had a great Chrissy and New Year. Don’t listen to all those doomsayers – this year is going to be a big one.
This is a really short newsletter this month, but not because we’ve been slacking.
It’s been really, really busy. Plus I’m off on a couple of weeks holiday up North and have to get it out before I can go!
Dive club
This month’s dive club meeting is Monday 26 January.
As this month’s dive club falls on the long weekend, we’ve decided to keep it completely informal and just make it a social event, so no guest speaker this month.
For those new club members that haven’t yet been to a club meet, we’re a pretty social bunch.
Pop in any time after 5:00pm for a drink, sausage and a good chin wag.

Trips
The Poor Knights trips we’ve been running are getting really popular – we might have to try put on a few more dates.
Upcoming trips include:
· Feb 14 and 15th – Tom organising a trip up to the Bay of Islands, to dive and stay with Northland Dive
· March 14 15 – Aldermens Liveaboard on MV Taranui. Ex Tairua.
Cost $399 each for 2 days of diving including accommodation.
* March 28 29 – Poor Knights Liveaboard $380 including food and accommodation.
