I have been diving since 2004 – and that Christmas I bought myself a Sony Cybershot DSC-P150 camera to take on a New Years dive trip to Great Barrier Island.
That camera came on one of the first dives of 2005 with me.

New Year 2007
I was really really happy with my first photographs. I think I actually said “Wahooo!” over a few of them.
Andrew and Anna and I were diving together and we went off in search of colour and nudibranchs.
After going back and checking, I can confirm that I wrote in my dive log that I thought I was hooked ….. again.
That Sony camera came with me on every single dive. Just in case – it was always clipped on.
Just before I went to Tonga in 2008, I decided it was time to [ever so slightly!] upgrade so I invested in a Nikon D300 and a macro lens. Now I hardly ever get to go out diving – but I am trying! And when I do go … “its all about the photography isnt it?”
