Divemaster Lindsay on board Pacific Hideaway
Lindsay had been hearing a lot about scuba diving from a couple of his friends. They’d gotten into it in a big way, and had been encouraging him to give it a go.
So when he was travelling back to New Zealand, and passed through Koh Tao, he decided to give it a go.
Arriving back in New Zealand, those same friends took him out to do his Advanced Course at the Poor Knights – the start of his involvement with Global Dive.
After saying he just wanted to do pleasure diving, somehow he ended up doing the Rescue Course.
And then two feisty ladies put the pressure on him to sign up for the Divemaster Trainee program.
How was he going to say no to a pretty face? Or two!!??
He does wonder just what he’s got himself into though…
The Divemaster program is a lot of work, and a lot to learn, but hey – you’re diving and having fun while you’re doing it.
