Nanuk Cases - Color Collection

We all know common brand names for Hard protective cases, but there is a new kid on the Block. NANUK.

I test drove a couple of different sizes of these in different applications and found both of them to be outstanding.

The first was to transport mobile radios and headsets for Motorsport teams.
This was a great test as this environment can be extremely harsh, with dust, heat, rain, solvents and rough handling by crews.

With the radios and headsets packed into the pluck out foam inserts they were held very securely.

The crews found it very easy to open the case in a hurry with the “power claw” latches and once in use the radios were always easy to find and see what was missing.
At pack up time it even had a race jack dropped on the closed case and it just bounced off without any damage.

The second test was a simple one, I wanted to see if I could create my own medical emergency kit I could carry in my car or take on extended dive trips for any situation.
I selected a bright yellow case, and multi-layered cubed foam and proceeded to fill it with all the things I may need; Small O2 bottle, O2 regulator and mask, Bandages, dressings, gloves, scissors, sutchering needles, anesthetic and other bits and pieces.

With the cubed foam, it made it very simple to pick out the pieces i need to layout a nice orderly system.
The O-ring seal gave me security that the contents would stay clean, dry and protected in all conditions and the bright colour made it easy to find with just a quick glance.

Also the accessory shoulder strap made it easy to carry on and off boats while leaving hands free to carry other stuff or just to be able to hold on to railings while disembarking.
